PMA 2010 Report
AgfaPhoto presents the first digital cameras with the red sensor shutter button for especially sensitive shutter release. The red sensor button, which was already used in 1969, revolutionised the photo world. It quickly became a trademark of the manufacturer. The red dot of the brand-typical shutter button has become an element of the AgfaPhoto logo. Today - as then - it stands for simple operation, reliability and Optimal picture quality. The sensor cameras will be launched in the American Market at the PMA in Las Vegas, from March 3rd through to March 5th, 2009.
AgfaPhoto kicks-off into 2009 with a new digital camera model range: under the name of Optima, AgfaPhoto presents digital cameras with an enhanced range of functions. The Optima 1438m is featuring a wide-angle lens, the Optima 1338mT a touchscreen display and the Optima 8328m comes with a PASM mode. The new AgfaPhoto Optima models are distributed in America through VistaQuest (Booth A271).
AgfaPhoto has released its new outdoor camera, the AgfaPhoto Optima 830UW. The new camera will be launched at the PMA in Las Vegas, from March 3rd through to March 5th, 2009. The extra sturdy, but lightweight digital camera is an ideal companion on the go, delivering a great performance in every one of your favorite sports and activities. It can be used for diving up to a depth of ten meters (33 feet) and, needless to mention, also takes pictures in the rain. The AgfaPhoto Optima 830UW digital camera is also fit for winter, because it is frost-proof up to a temperature of -5°C (22°F). Even a fall doesn’t throw the AgfaPhoto 830UW off balance, as it is shockproof for a fall from a height of one meter (3.3 feet).
The AgfaPhoto DV-5580Z combines video, photo and sound recording in a convenient and lightweight body. The compact format and the adjustable swiveling display make the camera suitable for a broad range of tasks. Use it as a fun video camera for birthday parties or weddings, as a photo camera while on vacation, or as a voice recorder for interviews. This new member of the AgfaPhoto family is being distributed in North America through VistaQuest Corporation (Booth A271).
Manufacturer plawa is presenting the Agfa Photo DC-630i at PMA in Las Vegas, their first model with integrated face-tracking technology. Even in the case of snapshots, up to three faces are automatically detected and the optimum focus and exposure selected. The integrated Digital Photo Stabiliser reduces the risk of blurring facilitated by adjustment of the ISO value. A high-quality CCD sensor with six-megapixel resolution and a variety of pre-adjustable image and exposure modes enables amateur photographers to take attractive shots in any situation. More ambitious photographers can set the exposure time and aperture values manually. Photos can be viewed in 16:9 image format on the 2.5 inch display.
